A shipping address is where a customer wants an order delivered, separate from their mailing or billing address.
In Business Central, manage ship-to addresses in Customer Card -> Ship-to Addresses for use in Sales Documents like Sales Orders.
For setting default ship-to addresses, define a customer's default ship-to address in the Ship-to Code field on the customer card, which will auto-populate on sales documents.
Customers can have multiple addresses but usually have a central warehouse for shipments.
This feature is part of Business Central Spring 2019 Release (BC14).
Additional features include assigning salesperson to customer ship-to addresses in BC24 wave 1.
