Business Central supports partial shipments where orders can be shipped in multiple shipments.
To prohibit partial shipments in Business Central, the Shipping Advice field on the Customer Card page must be set to Complete.
By default, Business Central allows partial shipments, but this can be restricted by customizing field editability.
Customization options include adding a new field in User Setup to control the modification of Shipping Advice on Sales Orders.
Modifying Qty. to Ship on Warehouse Shipments will also be restricted if Shipping Advice is set to Complete.
