Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 Wave 1 enhances the base application and development environment.
The new feature introduced is the ability to assign a salesperson to customer ship-to addresses.
Business Central supports multiple ship-to addresses for companies with various locations.
Previously, salesperson codes were only visible on the primary customer, or multiple related customers had to be set up.
Now, users can indicate a different salesperson on each ship-to address.
To specify the salesperson on the ship-to address, the field must be made visible through user or role personalization.
The process to enter a salesperson code on a ship-to address involves clicking on Customer Action, selecting or creating a ship-to address, and entering the desired salesperson code.
This feature is a contribution to the base application and can be found in Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 Wave 1.
