Setting up an Event Hub and choosing categories in the diagnostic settings of application insights allows for telemetry data to flow into Microsoft Fabric.
Creating an event stream inside Microsoft Fabric enables real-time data flow from the Event Hub to a KQL database or Lakehouse.
Json files with multiple lines need to be expanded before ingesting into the destination database.
KQL database allows for easy analysis of records using KQL code and the creation of Materialized views on tables.
In a Lakehouse, records are in a Json format structure, and Python code can be used to move and analyze data in a Warehouse or another Lakehouse.
Reports can be created in PowerBI after data has been processed and analyzed in the destination database.
