Objective: Automate the process of creating user accounts in Entra ID for new employees.
Prerequisites: Access to Power Automate, permissions to create flows, Entra ID credentials, and security group.
Sign in to Power Automate portal with Microsoft credentials.
Create a new flow selecting "Automated cloud flow."
Define the trigger by choosing "When a row is added, modified, or deleted."
Retrieve employee information and generate a random password for the new user.
Create a user in Entra ID and add them to the necessary security group.
Retrieve and assign the manager's details, then send a confirmation email to the new user.
Test and save the flow to ensure it works as expected.
