Business Central 2024 wave 1 (BC24): Usability improves for service and projects

The public preview for Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 release wave 1 (BC24) is available.
Usability improvements have been made for service and projects in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Microsoft has made it easier to complete several business processes in service management and accounting based on customer feedback.
The PowerBI and Project Details FactBoxes are now available on the Project List page, allowing users to access project details from the list.
The Item Reference No. field is now available on various tables and pages related to service management.
Users can add additional columns to service documents, such as Quote No., Bill-to Name, Sell-to Name, and External Document No., to provide better insight into the services provided to customers.
The External Document No. field already exists in the Norwegian localization and will remain in the local range, but for other localizations, it has been added to the W1 range.
Users can also add the External Document No. or Your reference columns to the project list.
