The Project Manager can assign named Resources or use a generic Resource for future planning.
Generic Resources hold important information like start/end dates, effort, and Resource role for transparent project execution.
When replacing a generic Resource with a named Resource, it generates Bookings and Assignments for reporting purposes.
The Assignments tab in Project Task Planning allows for detailed resource planning and contribution across the project.
Hours per day are based on individual Resource Work Hours calendar, with absences grayed out and locked for changes.
Adding more hours to a Resource increases total hours and project costs, with no validation for budget or time frame limits.
The Project plan shifts dynamically with changes in the Assignments tab, providing a chance for bottom-up planning.
The Assignments grid offers transparency and flexibility for Project Managers to plan according to their needs, with room for future improvements.
