The Project budget represents a snapshot of the estimated effort calculation across the project plan, comparing planned estimations against actual costs.
Multiple versions of the project budget can be created with approval and revision handling, structured by periods and including a budget contingency for buffers.
Budget plans can be created manually or imported automatically based on estimates from the project plan.
Project Budget Lines per Project Task and Resource show relevant budget indicators such as quantity, prices, and budget amounts.
The Project Manager can review and define all required lines before submitting the Budget for approval, preventing further changes once submitted.
Actuals can be tracked against the Budget and Forecast amounts can be adjusted as needed.
The Project Budget allows for tracking both cost and quantity values, providing feedback on the progress of the project.
Matching Actuals to the correct Budget Line is done based on defined mapping priorities, allowing for adjustments and re-evaluations as needed.
