Migrate RCS Electronic Reportings (ER) to Dataverse: Step-by-Step Guide

RCS (Regulatory Configuration Service) is being deprecated as the Electronic Reporting objects repository and will be fully shut down by August 1, 2024.
Custom ERs can be exported in bulk using the Configurations Packages functionality within RCS before the shutdown.
Custom ERs need to be uploaded to Dataverse by creating a new Dataverse solution and exporting it.
PowerShell 7, VS Code, and the Power Platform tools Visual Studio Code Extension are required for the migration process.
The process involves creating an empty solution in Dataverse, downloading it, and including the custom ERs in the solution folder.
The Power Shell script Generate-GlobalizationDataverseSolution.ps1 is used to include the ER files into the Dataverse Solution folder.
The solution folder is then compressed and uploaded back to Dataverse for deployment.
This migration guide is for a one-time migration from RCS to Dataverse and may not be a final solution for future ER developments.
