How to setup Database Logging

Database logging enables tracking and reporting of the creation, updates, and deletion of records in data tables throughout Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Instructions for locating and exporting database logs related to specific records are provided in the user guide.
Steps include confirming the legal entity, selecting the module with the records, choosing a specific record to filter the database log, and viewing the log details.
The database log table displays information such as Reference table ID, Record identification, Log RecId, Type of change, and Creation date and time.
Exporting the database log is necessary to see which fields were updated on a specific record.
Filters can be applied to the database log export, including Reference table ID and Date range filters.
Searching for specific field names can be done using Ctrl + F, and a list of Tables and Fields with database logging enabled can be found in System Administration.
