Microsoft has released a new preview feature for Power Platform that allows admins to control whether unmanaged customizations are allowed for different environments.
This feature has implications for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, specifically in the Journeys part of the application.
Enabling this feature will break functionality related to emails, journeys, triggers, SMS, push notifications, and business process errors.
The issue arises because these actions create unmanaged customizations within the environment.
Currently, there is no fix for this issue as the feature is still in preview.
Organizations with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights solutions installed should not enable this feature for their environments.
The feature cannot be decided on an app basis, but rather on an environment basis.
