The release wave 2 2024 notes for Dynamics 365 have been published, outlining new features and updates for the second half of 2024.
A series of posts will cover exciting new releases for Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Insights, and Copilot for Sales, as well as Power Platform features.
Dynamics 365 Customer Insights is receiving long-awaited updates and new features.
New features for Customer Insights
Journeys include the ability to collect extra customer data without custom attributes, form prefill functionality, an event portal, heatmaps for emails, tracking web interactions, and the addition of Journeys to solutions.
These changes are set to be released from October 2024 to March 2025.
Customers can now create fields directly on forms without connecting them to existing attributes, store values as part of form submission records, and use prefill functionality for marketing and event registration forms.
The Out of the box Event portal is now available for real-time use, allowing embedding in existing websites or Power Pages templates.
Heatmaps for emails and tracking web interactions are new features to help analyze customer behavior and engagement.
