Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 Wave 1 introduces a Page Scripting tool for user acceptance tests.
The tool allows recording and replaying actions directly in the Business Central web client, similar to Playwright.
Users need specific permission sets to access the Page scripting tool.
The tool allows users to start new recordings, open existing recordings, and track actions and field modifications.
Conditional steps can be added during recording, with the ability to change recorded values using Power FX formulas.
Recordings can be saved as YAML files, shared with colleagues, and used for creating user acceptance tests and training materials.
