Microsoft introduced a new feature in Business Central 2022 wave 2 where users can choose the report layout on the request page before printing.
Users can select the layout they need to print before printing on the request page.
If there is only one layout file and the user doesn't want to select, it can be managed with permissions.
There is no way to exclude table permissions for control in page 9660 "Report Layouts".
Users can open the report's request page and print the report normally, but an error will be reported when selecting Report Layout if permissions are set.
For customization, it is recommended not to customize standard functionality unless there are special requirements.
