Dynamics 365 Business Central: Changing from Essential to Premium (Change which features are displayed)

New technicians can adjust their Experience setting in Business Central to access functions like Manufacturing and Service Management.
To do this, users need to select the Premium option in the Experience field under Company Information.
The Premium experience shows all actions and fields for all business functionality, including Manufacturing and Service Management.
Team Member, Internal Admin, External Accountant, and Delegated Admin users can have a different plan from other users, with only Evaluation or Premium users able to switch to the Premium experience.

Dynamics 365 Business Central allows different licenses for different production environments (Essentials and Premium in separate environments on the same tenant).
Starting from the 2024 release wave 1, Premium plan users can sign in to companies using the Essentials plan but cannot access Premium features. The reverse is not possible.
Users with the Essentials plan cannot sign in to companies using the Premium plan.
