Microsoft announced the public preview of Microsoft Copilot for Finance, an AI-powered offering designed for finance teams.
Copilot for Finance joins Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service to provide role-based workflow automation and recommendations.
Users can access the new Copilot for Finance public preview through the aka.ms/CopilotforFinancePreview link.
The Copilot for Finance add-in can be enabled in Excel under Home tab > Get Add-ins > Admin-managed.
The add-in exposes the Reconcile data feature for quick data reconciliations.
Users can select two worksheets and tables for reconciliation, with AI-driven analysis suggesting reconciliation rules.
A reconciliation report is generated, categorizing transactions into unmatched, potentially matched, and perfectly matched.
Copilot for Finance offers a Reconciliation report summary and generative AI insights, currently available only in En-US.
