Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 wave 1 (BC24) is now generally available.
The new feature called Chat with Copilot in Business Central allows users to have AI-powered chat alongside their data.
Chat with Copilot will be released in various Microsoft Azure geographic areas including Germany, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, United Kingdom, Australia, South America, India, Japan, France, and Korea.
The feature will start rolling out with Update 24.0 to US customers and then to other regions.
Administrators in regions without Azure OpenAI Service must consent to business data moving across geographic boundaries.
Copilot is exclusively available for Business Central online.
Copilot assists users in quickly finding and accessing data by expressing requests in natural language and by providing guidance and explanations.
The feature is available as a production-ready preview in all countries except Canada, with supplemental terms of use.
Chat with Copilot is only available in English and users must have their language set to English in their settings.
