BC Online has new operational limits! Here's how to make the most out of them...

New operational limits for Job and API limits in BC Online were discussed at Directions NA in San Diego by Sandy Winarko.
The maximum number of concurrent jobs that could run simultaneously has been increased from 3-per-environment to 5-per-user.
The OData request limits have also been updated from per-environment to per-user limits, with rate limits changing from 600 per minute to 6000 per 5 minutes.
To take advantage of the new job limits, scheduling jobs as different users is recommended to increase throughput.
A workaround involves scheduling jobs as a System user using S2S application users.
Integrating with BC Online using a S2S user pool can help distribute requests across multiple Entra Applications for higher throughput.
Microsoft may introduce global limits or quotas in the future, so leveraging the new limits may have limitations.
Overall, the improvements in infrastructure for BC Online are promising, and further advancements are anticipated.
