When an organization has both Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365 subscriptions, administrators can configure environments to enable access with Microsoft 365 licenses and choose which objects users can access.
Employees with a Microsoft 365 license but no Business Central license can view shared Business Central records in Microsoft Teams chat and channels.

The feature for managing Microsoft 365 access is controlled in the Business Central admin portal.
It is recommended to create an Azure Security Group to manage permissions for Microsoft 365 users accessing Business Central.
Permissions for the Security Group can be set in Business Central, and the License Configuration for Microsoft 365 users should be cleared out to ensure control is managed by the Security Group.
After turning on the feature in the admin portal, users can view shared Business Central records in Teams.
The layout of the document presented in Teams can be managed by setting the default profile in Business Central and customizing pages for specific views.
