To consume a method in Electronic Reporting, you need to call the method with '()' in the name and add parameters if necessary.
An example of calling a method with parameters is StaticObjects.CustGroup.'findByCompany()'("USRT","Retail").
Different ER data types that use methods include Table type, Table Records type, Class Type, and Object Type.
Table type gives access to static methods of tables.
Table Records type provides access to table data and instance methods run at record level.
Class Type allows access to static methods of Classes and logic in static methods.
Object Type is an instance of a class filled from code in ER object runtime.
Understanding how to use each data type and access methods is important to becoming an ER expert.
