UsageCategory: what is it, and why is it important

UsageCategory is a property on pages, reports, and query objects in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Setting a UsageCategory is important for making objects searchable within Business Central.
If a UsageCategory is not specified or set to None, the object will not show up in search results or be bookmarked by users.
UsageCategory options in BC24 include Lists, Tasks, ReportsAndAnalysis, Documents, History, and Administration.
UsageCategory helps group similar objects by categories for easier searching.
Not all objects need to be accessible via search, and some may be designed for specific purposes like API exposure or backend data processing.
The UsageCategory property cannot be set through an extension object in Business Central.
If an object lacks a UsageCategory, adding an action to a page or creating a copy of the object may be necessary to make it available via search.
