The public preview for Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 release wave 2 (BC25) is available.
New reports are provided as demo data for Business Central to be used as templates for financial reporting.
Business Central provides sample financial reports and allows users to set up their own reports for financial analysis.
Five new standard reports for financial reporting have been added in wave BC25.
Users can combine new row and column definitions to create over 25 new reports.
Best practices for working with financial report definitions include choosing a good code, filling in the description field, and creating backups before making changes.
MS Learning path is available for creating financial reports in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Business Central 2022 wave 2 (BC21) has introduced financial reporting to replace account schedules.
